Re: Brazos Valley Veteran's Day Museum
Dear Brazos Valley Residents,
Each year on Veteran's Day we come together as a community to recognize and remember those who have given so much for so many by selflessly answering the call of our country. This year you can help preserve and showcase our military and veteran heritage. Please join us November 8th and 9th as we salute American service men and women at the 2008 Brazos Valley Veteran's Day Museums in Historic Downtown Bryan.
You, your family and your friends can all help by volunteering your time and memorabilia. This is your opportunity to share your stories with others; because, it is never too soon to preserve the past, educate our youth or honor those who have (and continue) to serve our country and our communities.
The 2007 Veteran's Day Museum at the Cotton Exchange was a huge success. Hundreds of families visited and shared personal and family experiences. For 2008 the Veteran's Day Museums will be showcased at the Masonic Lodge on Main Street and Downtown 202 on Bryan Street November 8th and 9th.
If you have military service related artifacts and memorabilia or would like to help organize, set up or docent for this exciting two day exhibit please call the Veteran's Day Museum coordinators Anne Boykin at 979-764-3491 or Padraic Fisher at 979-696-2787.
We hope and encourage you to join us, any way you can, in helping create and promote the 2008 Brazos Valley Veteran's Day Museums in Historic Downtown Bryan.
Yours,
