We, as a group, recognize the selfless contributions and
sacrifices made by our veterans and their families. As a
tribute to them, we are committed to expanding this year's
Veterans' Day Celebration in their honor and remind
residents of the Brazos Valley that we owe our freedoms
to these dedicated men and women.
All donations/proceeds from this year's weekend celebration in Historical Downtown Bryan
will go to the Museum of the American G.I. (www.magicstx.org) in College Station who is
trying to raise the funds to reassemble the USS Iwo Jima island as the main component of their
museum infrastructure.
Monies raised from the Veterans Fellowship BBQ at College Station
Veterans Memorial Park will be split between the Museum of the American G.I. and Brazos
Valley Veterans Memorial.
